Upcoming BCYD events - April 30, 2008
We had a very successful petition canvass this past weekend with just over 500 petitions collected in the Titusville area. Thanks to everyone who participated by walking and putting together the petition packets.
We will be doing another petition canvass this weekend in Port St. John. We will be meeting at the Port St. John Public Library (6500 Carole Ave) just off Fay Blvd at 10am on Saturday May 3rd. Come on out and bring a friend.
On Sunday May 4th we will be meeting at the Lagoon House in Palm Bay to fill in all the petition packets and create new packets for the last 2 weeks of petition canvassing at 3pm. The Lagoon House is located off US 1 just south of the Southeast Honda Dealership.
Last but not least we will be at the Downtown Melbourne Friday Fest on Friday May 9th from 5-10pm. Please come by and help out if you can. We need to make sure that the Democrats in these county see that there are others like them in this county. We will continue to collect petitions along with getting people registered to vote, provide campaign materials, and have a little fun while we’re doing it. Our tent will be (usually) set up in front of Island Pasta on the corner of Municipal and New Haven.
